Chen's Gourmet Chinese

The food had some kind of wine or alcohol poured on it that just completely ruined the meal. I ordered the mandarin, orange, and sesame chicken and they were all very bad. They had good texture but theres this taste to it and smell that's just awful.

The people at Chen's are always so polite and friendly, and you can't beat the food!

1st visit. Just like other reviewers, it's pick only. You park, text the on the sign with the name and phone you used ordering.A super nice comes out to ask your name, then bring out your order, confirms your order and has one of the charging devices. Done in a sec. He was so grateful for the tip. Best service ever.I got crab Rangoon (delicious! , and tried the Walnut chicken with walnut sweet white sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side. It was so thick and way too sweet. Definitely will go back and get something more familiar next time.I recommend!

I'll rate based on how it compares to other Chinese restaurants in Menomonee Falls. I think it is one of the better options for the palates up here. But it lacks extra flavor and heat if you're craving something more. The staff was friendly, convenient curbside pickup. Food was hot and had fresh ingredients. Didn't love the general tso (not spicy, sauce was not to our taste) and egg rolls (lacked meat). Try the stir fried pork with spicy salt and chow fun. The hot chicken garlic was just alright, not much chicken and veg pieces were awkwardly huge

The people are always wonderful when they greet you. We have purchased shrimp egg foo young and shrimp fried rice multiple times and the food was good. The food we purchased on Sat., 1/7 was horrible and the shrimp had the shell on them in both dishes. We had to dump the food. I do not know if they have a new cook or what is happening, but that food is not a good sign of where the restaurant is headed. I hope it gets better for them but I need to go elsewhere in the future.
