Root Down - Meridian Station

The restaurant was incredibly overbooked. They didn't sit us until 15 min after our reservation and only had bar seating when we booked the patio. The bartender would not take our order and we almost left because we couldn't get any service.

Enjoyed our evening all the way around. However, the additional 5% gratuity for kitchen staff was added on before tax. Not sure why I would be expected to pay taxes on a tip ??‍

Excellent choice for dinner. Joe was exceptional in catering to our unexpected need to alter the reservation. Entire staff was friendly, service was excellent. Of particular interest to us was the restaurant's attention to allergy requests, a specialty of their's. Would highly recommend this restaurant for its service, individual attention, and varied menu.

We were seated on the heated patio which was much quieter than the restaurant. Lots of vegetarian options and fun cocktail choices. It was a healthy, delicious meal. Service was efficient and friendly.

Great customer service in accommodating our larger party. They went above and beyond to set up our space in advance. The food was wonderful. Most of us opted for the lesser expensive small plates and lamb sliders. The outdoor patio was very warm and protected from a windy evening. It made our special birthday dinner for a friend very special.
