Salad was meh and expensive for just lettuce, piled cheese, and onions as well as for the cacio cracked pepper dish and buratta Con pesto cheese that really has no flavor for $19 hmmm. Dishes were either too salty or no flavor at all. Had to order 2 bowls of pasta just to get full because the waitress swore one bowl was enough. Disappointing so much oil was used in the pasta dish. Never seen so much before. Not worth the price. No refill on my sodapop SMH. Cocktails were good. Very nice establishment and good vibes.
This is by far one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had, and we were here for happy hour, I cannot imagine how great dinner would be. Firstly, our bartender is a Lancaster, PA native where we are from and took phenomenal care of us. The attention to detail during every aspect of our cocktails and meal was superb. Unknown to us our pasta flight that we ordered off of the happy hour menu (10/10 would recommend) was not served on time to the kitchen’s very high standard. The FOH manager apologized for the delay and ended up comping this portion of the bill, an unnecessary but amazing gesture. The food was out of this world and the cocktails were the perfect balance of well crafted with a great punch. We enjoyed the happy hour pasta flight, marinated olives, a late for the train cocktail, house old fashioned, Paloma, and classic Negroni. Every item was amazing. I cannot express how great this experience was and it will surely be the FIRST stop we make off of the train from the airport the next time we return to Denver. For all those that have hated on this place, stop being pretentious, this restaurant is second to none. Also, in reading one of the reviews, if you order a well done steak meal at an establishment like this with the culinary expertise that the kitchen staff provides, you should be immediately escorted out. Then have the audacity to complain about it, unreal. This is coming from someone currently wearing a backwards hat and gas station sunglasses…get over yourself Celine. Tavernetta is worth anybody in Denver visiting, you will not have a bad experience.
We enjoyed an amazing dinner here on our last night in Denver. The ambiance and the service was top notch. Megan was our server and was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable on all of the food and wine. We had the stuffed squash blossoms and home made focaccia for appetizers followed by the cavatelli and pallia e forno for our entrees. Again the cocktails were perfect and we really appreciated the selection of unique Italian wines. We finished our delicious dinner with their homemade blackberry guava sorbet. Would highly recommend Tavernetta and hope to return on our next trip to Denver!!
Great Italian food, excellent service and ambiance. Bit on the pricey side but worth it imo
That was an amazing experience! Staff starts taking care of you at the beginning! We've got complimentary glass of wine, and the server told us everything about the menu. The atmosphere is amazing, the open kitchen is magical. We took pasta with mushrooms and lamb. Wow. Home-made pasta is fantastic! You should try it! Everything was excellent. Tiramisu was out of the world! We didn't want to leave. Definitely will come back!
