Cute As A Cupcake - Merrillville

Great place, excellent vibe! Customer service is a bit bland for such a Cute shop! Was expecting cc to meet or exceed the visual vibe. Cupcakes were tasty but dry, for the price I was expecting moist delicious velvety cake with superb flavor. At this point I as at 3 stars but the BANANA PUDDING came through! It was more cookie than anything, but the tasty grabbed you and kept you. So if I go back it would only be for the banana pudding!!

The staff mentioned that the glass dessert equates to two cakes, but it only measured 8 oz and cost $8.75. It was similar in size to the regular cupcake my friend ordered. My friend said that while the regular cupcakes were good, they could have been a bit more moist. We believe in giving places a second chance, so we'll keep an eye on future reviews and may come back to try again. If the vegan frosting improves or more options become available, please let us know! Aquafaba whipped cream would be a great addition!

I enjoyed red velvet and turtle cupcakes at the Billy Joel concert at Notre Dame on June 25, 2022. As we ate, people noticed our cupcakes and a line quickly formed behind us. We've tried cupcakes from various popular bakeries around Indianapolis, but Cute as a Cupcake stood out. Their cupcakes were moist, and the frosting was sweet and soft, not crusty like others we've tried. Some of the other bakeries had cupcakes that were too firm or had frosting that was overly sweet or too much in volume. The servers were also very polite and courteous. Additionally, the prices for water and soda were reasonable. I believe this food truck has truly found the perfect balance!

I ordered a dozen cupcakes for my May book club dessert. With 10 ladies in attendance, they were a hit! I especially appreciated the convenience of ordering online in the morning and picking them up on my way to our meeting after work. Thank you—they were a huge success!

I absolutely adore these incredible products! The cupcakes in a jar make the cutest little gifts! I'm excited to try the cake pops next! They even ship to me, three hours away, which is so convenient!
