Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónAfter a mediocre first visit, I tried to give Gogi a second try. This place is absolute trash, don?t even bother dining in. Came in, wasn?t even greeted, and the table was filthy with oil stains. Water tastes like it?s bleached. They were out of the following dishes: kimchi fries, Gogi nachos, kimchi fried rice, chicken katsu, and LA galbi (LMFAOOO what a joke). Banchan was pathetic, only like 5 pieces of kimchi. Charges $2 to get half and half flavor (spicy Korean and soygarlic) on the 12 pc chicken wings. Food was served one entree at a time, first entree took 30 minutes, second took 15 minutes, third also took 15 minutes. My paralyzed grandmother could make the food faster. Server could?ve done a betterjob of informing us when our food would be out/apologizing for the wait. Food was not even worth the wait, the chef put ?extra beef? in our japchae but there was barely any??? Noodles were also overly chewy. Mediocre and disappointing.Servers also seemed lazy; the table next to us left and it has been 30+ minutes and no one has even bothered to clean the table. Won?t be coming here again. Find Korean food somewhere else. Wish I walked out.
Great food service! I would definitely eat there again! I got the Dak bulgogi! The entire lobby was set up and ready to accept customers : did not have to wait at all and was seated immediately. Food came out faster than I thought it would and was perfect temperature. Fresh and tasty! I got the dumplings appetizer and it was okay, not my favorite but I would get it again if someone else wanted it.
Awesome atmosphere. The bulgogi beef is super good and comes with a lot of sides. And with Soju on the side, definitely an awesome meal. I definitely recommend stopping by here.
Gogi was definitely a really good experience. As you walk in to this restaurant you definitely get korean K-pop vibes which my teens and I loved. The decor was beautiful with a very friendly atmosphere. The food was piping hot when it arrived to the table and our waiter was very friendly and quick. Our waiter was very good at making suggestions and explaining what ingredients were in the food. If you like spicy food you'll definitely find it here and did I mention itsdelicious! For starters I definitely recommend the garlic soy wings and the kimbap!
Maybe they 're the way they are because they have no competition? Food is mediocre and pricey. Banchan is meager and trying to get more is like pulling teeth. The waitress tries to say they ran out .. because they 're literally out of half the menu items too.. how can you be out of kimchi at the korean restaurant??? That 's like no tacos at a mexican restaurant, no pasta at an italian. I mean, I would just prefer you just charge me a little extra for more banchan if you don 'twant to give away free food, not lie about it. I do like the taste of the galbi and the bulgogi. The dumplings have no consistency inside, its mush and the tofu soup is peppery.
