Ish is what it is and what you make it. Excellent food and service. The root veggie lasagna and the banana pudding cannoli were two items that stood out on an overall (small) but incredible menu. They have a small specialty pantry with imported and local goods and a great wine selection. Don’t dress up, come as you are, relax, and order a couple of plates and then a couple more.

Cannot believe I have not been here before! Met some friends for dinner and tried everything on the menu- and it was all amazing. Great wine selection as well. Owner is awesome. The cannoli.... oh, the cannoli! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Absolutey killer. Staff and owner are so kind, personable, and just client friendly. Food is tops: classics with attention for detail, delicious meats, and a Southern twist. Excellent slaw too. A must-stop spot for us when we are visiting Raleigh.
