Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThere is a wide variety of Filipino dishes available at this restaurant. My children enjoyed the Max's Chicken menu, which they always crave. The Kare-Kare dish tasted just like what my mom used to cook at home.
This restaurant is absolutely stunning, with a second floor perfect for families and large parties that last all day. The menu is reminiscent of Max's Taste of Chicken, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes served by an attentive staff. Some dishes come out quickly while others take a bit longer, but the prices are reasonable overall. The inasal, pancit, beef, and sandwiches are all tasty options. Dinner was a wonderful experience, and the sweet turon was a perfect way to end the meal.
On the high street there is a lot of restaurants, not only a lot of local cuisine to choose from. from the usa I wanted to enjoy as much Filipino food as possible during my stay. we ended in max’s kabisera., at the corner of the high street at the 7th avenue. Max's roasted chicken is a classic. kabisera means formal “capital” in tagalog, but colloidal and in culinary context refers to the “head of the table” and typically to the person who pays the register card for the entire table. there is a bar with opposite seat and a relatiw small escaping area in the ground floor. we were led to another escaping in the second floor. service was friendly and quite fast. too many possibilities for a meal we have the famous roasted chicken including the chicken skin for appetizer. Comfort food, in order, but perhaps not live until memory and call. the breast part of the half-hitch was a bit dry. the spice was good and the chicken skin was probably the best part of the meal and excellent accompaniment with the beer. that was pretty good. others have recommended the other dishes such as sisig, sinigang, kare-kare. if I could try again.
My wife's family selected this restaurant for a gathering during our recent trip to Manila. We were seated in a semi-private area at the back of the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, despite the service being a bit lacking. On a positive note, we were given a discount card after our meal which can also be used at Max's Fried Chicken, since this restaurant is affiliated with Max's.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the service was efficient. the food was really delicious especially the Kare-Kare and caldereta. I highly recommend to eat at this place for local cuisine.
