Chef Bruce was also in the house and we even have to talk to him, share his passion for his craftsmanship, the restaurant industry and the never-ending learning process in terms of food preparation : All employees were incredibly friendly and evidenylu shared the same passion for their individual craftsmen as Chef Bruce. If you have given the chance, you would certainly like to re-edit: look forward to more restaurants Chef Bruce will be opened in the future!
We spent one night in Manila, and here we had dinner. Absolutely extraordinary. Great service, spectacular food and elegant atmosphere. The value for money is also excellent if you are on an international travel budget. I definitely recommend a stop here if you're around somewhere.
It's the best sushi I've got in Manila BGC... or maybe one of the best sushi I've ever got when u consider how much u paid. The service is also perfect. Everything you want for a pleasant and unforgettable dinner. Love it. The cook is not a Japanese, but he has all passion and attention to details I would expect from a Japanese cook. Visited again on 18. Sep. Not much sushi was told, but still not disappointed. Very recommended as always
Mecha Uma is a jewel. The dining area itself is small. The table of chef ten, and there are only three or four tables for a la carte meal. What's going on? Uma lacks in space, they make it in the flavors of dishes with remarkable depth. The style here is creative, conscious, brilliant and full of imagination. The labeling of food will not do justice and it needs the taste buds to express the experience fully.
My wife and I had the Tasting Menu. Very exquisite and delicately prepared dishes. It's a treat for the senses. It's a 7 course menu. Personal favorite is the oyster, and roast duck. Tasting Menu is only available on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and they have two seatings: 6-8 pm and 830 -1030 pm. Small space so highly recommended to reserve. Best seat is on chef's table as you see the team in action. As of writing, the price for each person is about P 3,850 $75 US). Servings are very small but it will be satisfying.
