Thai BBQ Original Restaurant

Finalmente lo probé después de leer algunas críticas favorables, pero para mi consternación, la carne de curry panang no era tan tierna / blanda. Probablemente estaba poco cocido. El té helado pandan era aburrido.

June 3, 2017  The hubby and I came from a meeting and was quite ravenous for dinner. We decided to have a little bit of a treat to reward ourselves from work the past month. A quick stroll to The Fort Strip for choices and we ended up with a resto that he eyed earlier that morning. The menu was quite extensive! We decided on ordering Tom Kha Gai (Php280), which is slices of chicken in traditional Thai soup w/ coconut milk, herbs and chili. We also had the Chicken BBQ (Gai Yang) (Php420), definitely true to its description as having extra large portion. The staff was very knowledgable about the menu that they are serving and very accommodating. The place is a good family dinner destination and the ambience has an authentic Oriental feel.

Ambiance is a little cramp with our 4-seater table unpractical in position pushed to the corner in a diagonal position leaving very little space to get in or out of your seat, but since we were only 2 tonight we sat a the outer edges. Service was just enough to take your order and thankfully they managed the basics, we ended up with their special and a pad thai, they made no effort to engage with us and simply waited. Pad Thai (380 PHP) We were looking for something refreshing and light, but we were surprised with the volume and overly saucy consistency and the sweetness was just distracting, although enjoyable.  BBQ Spare Ribs Dinner (580 PHP) 2 tender pieces of ribs heavily glazed with a tangy sweet sauce on a bed of rice. Again, we feel they over did the sauce, but it manages to still be satisfying. eater.ph

Dicen que se puede juzgar la autenticidad de un restaurante tailandés por su Pad Thai. Definitivamente uno de los mejores Pad Thais que he probado en las calles de Bangkok. Las costillas a la barbacoa sabían a Liempo filipino. Así que sáltate este entrante si planeas comer aquí. Otro plato muy recomendable es el Combinado Sate. Brochetas de carne de res de cerdo y pollo tiernas y tiernas sobre una cama tibia de arroz java. Pide más salsas extra, especialmente vinagre, y no te saltes los postres aunque estén llenos ????
