Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe’ve been there twice. First time was food was fabulous; service slow but friendly; we went back a second time to get a specific menu item. Were seated next to the chef playing computer video games with a child; there were four tables being served at the time: virtually empty. The child proceeded to stare at us the entire time that we surveyed the menu. We asked to be moved. After 10 minutes we got water. After 20 minutes we got wine. After 30 minutes we got bread. We asked the server if it could be speeded up as we had to retrieve a child shortly. After another 10 minutes with no food we asked for the check. We paid for the wine, left a tip and departed the proprietor subsequently greeted us at the door and told us (and everyone else in the parking lot) in no uncertain terms that we were not welcomed, and to never come back-that people like us were not permitted in HIS establishment; in over thirty years of fine dining from Rome to Singapore, we've never encountered such a display. Perhaps the food is good; but with the myriad of alternatives in South Florida we can only suggest that it's merely a matter of time before you, too, are treated so rudely.
I was impressed! One of the great frustrations of eating in South Florida is consistency. There is nothing worse than going to a place and having a great experience and returning expecting the same, only to find that it is not. I have confirmed that is not the case at Bistro Bisou. I have dined their five times since July, including lunch and dinner. Everything is cooked to perfection. The ambiance is great with a very open area, including a kitchen that you can see. There you can see Chef Victor the New Chef and owner. He is very charming and knowledgeable and can always be found there. This is probably the key to the consistency. Whatever the key is keep it up because, I LOVE IT!!
Now, that 's French Food!!! I had been there before but it was a different chef and the food then was just ok. Now that they have a new chef, the food is outstanding. Really. I shared the best duck salad ever as an appetizer and then had a very interesting tuna with wasabi sauce. The spicyness was just right and the tuna was cooked to perfection. I loved everything. And to top it all, we had a chocolate fondant. To be honest, I could have eaten the whole thing by myself it was sooooo good. You have to try place. If you are like me, you will be extremely satisfied.
We learned that Bistro Bisou had a new French chef so we went last weekend and we were thrilled. It was absolutely delicious. I had mussels as an appetizer and the salmon and my husband had the onion soup and sweet bread in a mushroom sauce and we were loved everything. The server was also very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely go back and would recommend anyone who loves good food to stop by (especially if you live close by! .
The grill Salmon is outstanding, excellent. The staff are very attentive, friendly.
