The place has not knocked my socks off. pub is good by, it is sold after the date and needs a renovation very grumpy. the foods not much better rather dirty, should simplify the menu.

We hadn’t been here for many years, even thought we are local. As we were passing, we decided to call in for lunch and were very pleased we did. My wife had cauliflower and cheese soup, and I had a plate of grilled fish with fries. The fish was all cooked perfectly with crispy skin and the prawns were also tasty. Recommended and we won’t leave it too long to return again.

Always a good place to visit when in Cuckfield, excellent food and really friendly staff.

Popped in for a weekend breakfast. Very good quality ingredients at a good price. Friendly owner and nothing was too much trouble. Will certainly come back for brekkie again and definitely pay a visit to sample an evening meal. Nicely decorated and a pleasant atmosphere.
