Wonderful restaurant in a rather unlikely spot, tucked away behind the port in a generally unvisited part of Northern Italy, in a quiet piazza (quiet anyway at lunch time) reminiscent of a description in one of Sciascia's novels. Simple but outstanding cooking, excellent service, terrific value. If you are in the area (perhaps to catch a boat to the Islands) dont miss it.

Excellent place well managed and food prepared with passion. A place to recommend to everyone. Location is also nice. Owner is really careful and takes care of the guests.

Absolutely the best meal we’ve had in ten days in Sicily… and that’s saying a lot. Creative takes on classic local ingredients. We are here for one more night and may go back!
