Victor's On Van Buren - Milwaukee

We were there last Friday for fish roasts. Our server was not in good mood, which is understandable. The creamy seafood soup was a catastrophe, garbage from frozen imitated crabbon and scallops in our salty soup was very bad. We had no corners for about 20mins and we had some kind of food discomfort after we came home. I don't know what's going on with this place, but it was bad!!! Do not go there and recommend this place to anyone.

Free hot bread with your meal. Big portions. Feel great food club. Best fish for value in Milwaukee.

Decided to stop here with friends on a Friday night to have a late dinner. Service was a little slow, but the food was absolutely delicious. The bread loaf they put on the table to begin was hot, buttery and fresh from the oven good! The Lobster Bisque had a lot of taste, with great lobster bites. A bowl served quite a lot. The 6 ounces of steak (ordered medium rare) was perfectly cooked, with the side mushrooms, potatoes, deep roasted shrimps and onion rings are large compliments. Our friends had the cod they always rave from. The cod was a generous part and very fluffy, with the side claw being one of the best we had. Although this place is not usually on my radar to eat, but I would be ready to go back and try more deals.

I had my 40 this year. Birthday. Owner is super fun. The music was on the spot and they even played a Spanish music that my guests were so happy about... The pizza is so good and the chicken cake and many other appetizers were also delicious. The chicken quesadillas were so good.

Victors is an awesome pub. We love going there for food and wonderful dancing afterwords. Great people and awesome staff. The negatives are the poor parking conditions and lack of parking lot security. We were there with a group of friends a few weeks ago ad experienced multiple car break ins in the parking lots. Cars on both sides of us had smashed in a very expensive repair bill that could be windows and cars ransacked. One of our party’s new pickup was involved. Back section of parking lot is very dark and obviously not patrolled. It’s asking for thieves to take advantage of the dark secluded area. As much as we love Victors we will not be going back and want to warn people it’s not a safe area to park your cars. Our friends ended up with an expensive repair bill along with items stolen from their truck. Since multiple vehicles we involved we wish to warn everyone that the situation could be resolved with better security on site for customers who park in the lot. Otherwise Victors is a fantastic club. Too bad management cannot secure the area better.
