Be warned, parking can be a hassle due to the small lot shared by numerous retail spaces. However, if you manage to find a spot or don't mind walking a bit, it's well worth the effort!
I tried a slice of pepperoni and sausage pizza, along with a slice of the "garbage" pizza (think a supreme pizza with jalapeños). The portions are quite generous—I should have just ordered one slice! My first bite was impressive; the flavors were fresh, and the garlic crust added a delightful crunch and burst of flavor. I favored the pepperoni and sausage slice over the "garbage" one. The wait time is minimal since the pizzas are already prepared; they just need to be heated up. They also offer whole 18-inch pizzas, which likely take longer to prepare since they are made to order. The atmosphere of the venue is modern and welcoming, with a lively vibe. The outdoor patio will be a great spot once the weather warms up. Overall, it’s an excellent pizza option for both dining in and takeout.
This is undoubtedly the best New York-style pizza I’ve ever had in the city. It’s definitely made its way into my top five favorite pizza places of all time. The staff was incredibly friendly, the restaurant was clean and new, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I will absolutely return, and the 30-minute drive to get there will be worth it. Bravo, team ElMar! You’re excelling in the pizza game, and I’m so glad you’re in Minnesota!
I discovered this restaurant through TikTok. My husband and I are big fans of New York-style pizza, so we decided to give it a try! We've visited twice in just two weeks, even though it’s nearly an hour away from our home. We've sampled both the pizza and the wings — and the wings are HUGE! (So is the pizza too!) Everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!
The reason this restaurant doesn’t have a phone is that they have an 18-year-old managing the expo who frequently gets orders wrong. They apparently want to avoid the responsibility of handling customer calls and addressing concerns. If you receive an incorrect order—which is highly likely, whether due to missing toppings or an entirely wrong meal—there's no way for them to rectify the situation and satisfy you as a customer. There’s no motivation to return, and the customer service is severely lacking. Often, the person in charge of the expo is cutting pizza slices smaller than they should be just to save some for himself, which is frankly appalling. It’s hard to believe that some people think this is acceptable. I would rate my experience as a customer a 0/10 and as an employee a -7/10. I will not be returning to support this business again.
