Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWent there for dinner with friends . One of the best servers I have had anywhere (Dan) . 3 of us had Lobster ravioli and it was amazing plenty of lobster in the sauce and the pasta and 1 rigatoni which my hubby said was great . We each had a craft cocktail at the bar while waiting for our friends. Refreshing, interesting and well made . The bartender also great service. It's on the expensive end of dining but well worth it for the food, the service and the atmosphere and view of the Mississippi . We can't do it often but it was great food, drinks and service . A wonderful evening
My friends and I were looking for a place to have good food and drink. THE SUMMER OLD FASHION is the main reason I go. I also get the truffle deviled eggs. It is very chill place and friendly to hang at the bar and grab some good eats.Food drinks: Excellent bar! Many great choices.
Everything was great. It's fairly pricey, so that's why I gave that item 4 stars instead of 5, but it's in line with similar places. Server was entertaining while still being attentive and knowledgeable. It had been a long time since I'd had dinner there, but I'm glad I finally did and hope to get back sooner this time.
Pros, the bar was great and in general the hotel is authenticly vintage. The con to vintage is you have to forego a few common $300 a night typical ammenities. What is missing? Coffee and drinking water. They have an airpot of coffee on your floor but was empty, we let desk person know, she said sorry she is only ine working. Me, the guy with $326 bill is patient to wait as long as necesarry for coffee. So we did, for 43 minutes. The coffee, was good and believe it or not worth the wait. There is an operational challenge there though. Also, no bottled water or drinking water anywhere courtesy or for sale. I know, don 't be a wuss and drink the tap you say. I say no. Good stay in general and I am glad we checked it out. This place doesn 't have what would make me want to come back. In truth, variety is the spice of life and I will check out another place next time we look to stay downtown Minneapolis. In my opinion though, it is good to check this place out at least once.
The server was less than ideal and forgot several things we asked her to bring out on different occasions. She spilled the milk at my hubby feet while serving him coffee and overall was just not great. The food made us feel sick after we left and we both felt like it was a complete waste of our money.
