Pancheros Mexican Grill - Minneapolis

I LOVE me some Panchero's. This location always nails it for me. I've got one friend from out of town who orders it whenever he visits, he likes it that much. It's definitely my favorite burrito option in town too. The fresh-pressed tortillas and the mixing tool at the end of the line make all the difference!

Good food!! Im from Chicago, but live in Sanborn Minnesota. The food cures my homesickness. Also, Im half Hispanic and half Creek nation indian. When i order i can smell the great aromas of my Grandmothers kitchen, and brush up on my rusty Spanish.

Hands down best queso of all modern taco place chains. Always quality food. Highly recommend the new shrimp! I add it to my chicken quesadilla for even more great flavor.

The burritos at this restaurant are amazing, and personally I think they are the best out of all the Chipotle-style restaurants I have visited. They offer a tofu option called tofusada, which I found to be surprisingly delicious even though I had never tried tofu before. I usually go for the chicken though. My main complaint is that the employees seem to have a hard time understanding orders. I have been here three times and twice they have gotten my order wrong, either putting the wrong ingredients on my burrito or missing that I asked for a burrito bowl and giving me a burrito shell instead. The interior is quite small, but I have never actually seen anyone eating inside the restaurant, so you will likely find seating if that's what you prefer. They seem to assume most orders are to-go, as they have never asked me if I am dining in. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall area. A burrito or burrito bowl typically costs around $9, but after tip, tax, and adding queso (why is cheese an extra charge? seems strange), it usually comes out to $12-$14.

I had a fantastic experience at Pancheros! The food was consistently delicious and the staff was excellent. Even though I arrived close to closing time, the employees were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I am willing to make the drive to this amazing restaurant again.
