Bar Henrietta - Montréal

We asked the waitress about a good white wine through the glass. She recommended one that we later recognized was not listed on the menu. Of course, she got us the most expensive, and of course she told us the PREIS. We have paid to the end... among other drinks, $17 (before taxes and service) for a glass of white wine that we would never have ordered otherwise. Shameful.

I saw this place from another restaurant, so I'm going to the surrounding area and return, so next week I went there. The place is a Portuguese bar, with the entire European environment. Very good tapas we tried the cheese table and the ceviche,...both were great. My friend drank 2 different white wines and I had a few Macallan as usual. The location is excellent at rue Laurier and have many other places around. Bar is a must in Montréal.

This is a little jewel. The furnishings are stylish and the rooms are well designed. Make sure you're there early for a place. The wine list was good and the food looked great even though I did not partake. If you like a relaxed and elegant wine bar, this is a good choice for you.

Beautiful place, amazing ambience and good music. We had a few appetizers with some drinks (Oyster, diced popcorn and pickled olives). Will definitely go back!

This is a fantastic local restaurant. Thank goodness we arrived early after a long haul flight because it was really buzzing from about 8pm on a Friday night with a constant queue out of the door. First class service absolutely on it without being in...your face and no pressure to move people through, despite the waiting punters. Great value, good food, good wine. No wonder it's popular
