Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis was my third visit to this restaurant and once again, I was not disappointed. The Brat-Rind dinner 9oz was superb and cooked to perfection. I was joined by a longtime friend who was equally impressed and vowed to bring more friends in the future. We both felt sorry for the waitress who was the only server on a busy Sunday night. She did her best to accommodate everyone, but it seemed like no reservations had been made as she struggled to serve 25 to 30 customers. Despite the hectic situation, our orders were taken flawlessly and our Caesar Salad was fresh and delicious with plenty of cheese and dressing. The Roast was also excellent and the price for the meal was very reasonable. I will definitely be returning, although I'm not sure if they are open for lunch. The restaurant may be a bit tricky to find as it is located just north of Beaubien St. on the east side.
This restaurant is a fantastic choice for roast beef. This was my second visit and it was just as good as the first. The service was quick, the roast beef was cooked perfectly to medium rare. I would definitely return on my next trip to Montreal if it weren't for all the other amazing restaurants in the area. The prices were also very reasonable.
This restaurant, located next to a senior's home complex, caters mainly to elderly customers but also attracts a mix of younger guests. The decor is slightly old-fashioned but clean, cozy, and spacious. The highlight of the menu is the delicious roast beef, which comes in various sizes ranging from 6oz to 24oz. Each roast beef meal includes vegetables, gravy, and tasty roasted potato wedges. For an extra $5, you can upgrade to a table d'hote meal that includes soup or salad, dessert, and tea or coffee. The quality of the roast beef is excellent, and my medium rare order was cooked perfectly. For those not interested in roast beef, there are other options available, such as seafood. The overall dining experience was simple and satisfying, and the servers were friendly and welcoming.
This is the second time we organized a family meeting in this restaurant. First we went there because of the location, parking and enough space for our group. It was a surprise to discover that the quality of service and food was far beyond our expectations....All but believe me, everything from the menu deserves a 5 star. If you are looking for a beautiful place and expensive set-up, then don't go. But if quality and delicious food is your priority, you will be in the right place to not mention the low price.
I attended a 90th birthday party for a very dear family friend. It was a Sunday midday gathering of friends and relatives. The restaurant was not very busy, possibly because it has come under new ownership. Bobby the chef is a very talented artist. I...had the 9oz. Roast beef dinner, medium rare, was as they say so tender you could cut it with a knife . The quality of the piece I had was excellent. There was no tenderizer. if any, that I could taste that would leave a sawdust texture on the pallet. As I said to Bobby, the chef, as he had an opportunity to chat with his guests, some fried Vidalia onions would have moved my meal into the 110% category. The roast potatoes were very very good and added so much to the fabulous meal I had.. Service was excellent for our group and the staff is fluent and comfortable in either official language. (Any of our American cousins need not be fearful of service in the eastern part of the city in this restaurant. Writing this makes me hungry. I hope to return soon to Montreal an have a romantic evening dinner with my wife. Merci Bobby !!
