Fresh, well-cooked, simple but tasty dishes. Very good service and friendly personnel. Good choice of wines (not many, but good).

Small comfortable restaurant with a fresh menu. I must admit that every dish was really amazingly good. Every one in my party enjoyed it so much. Even the wine was fascinating. a wonderful place

Perfect service from Thomas. Nice surroundings. Busy, mixed crowd. The food is very simple, perhaps too simple for our tastes. No frills or additions such as veg etc. No options for our son although he happily ate bread butter. €85 for 2 courses, 2 people nibbles 5 drinks.

Superb restaurant, with quality fresh food. Everything is sourced responsibly from quality suppliers and menus are interesting and varied with good vegetarian choices. Can't recommend highly enough.

We tried this restaurant for three reasons : one, it was just around the corner from the Novatel where we were staying two, we desperately wanted to try some French cuisine that didn't include salad and fries and three, it had great reviews on Trip Advisor. Finally. Aubergine et Cie is literally about five minutes walk from the front door of the Novatel. Turn left as you leave the Novatel, cross the next street then take the left after that and it's about 50 metres down on the right. Book! We used TripAdvisor to book and it was so easy. The service is friendly and the menu, whilst limited, is tasty. There were about six mains in all, two fish dishes, one pork, one lamb and a couple of others I can't remember. We had the pork and the lamb and neither had a chip or salad in sight! The meat was tender and tasty and the veggies (legumes here) were delicious. Next time I'd have given the carafe of white wine a miss but that may have been my poor choice trying to translate french. Most restaurants here seem to serve their white wine warm :( I think a nice Pinot Noir would have been a better choice. My bad. Our dessert was a brie with crusty bread and a blackcurrant (cassis) style sauce and some dressed lettuce. Can't seem to evade the salad stuff. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the friendly service. Would we go again? Yes, definitely.
