Hyakumi Japanese Restaurant - Moreland

My friend and I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive at first because the tables were quite dirty with leftover plates and food. There was only one waitress working, so it was clear that they were understaffed. Despite this, I am glad we decided to stay because the food was surprisingly delicious! We shared the tempura prawn roll, which was fresh and had a crispy prawn that I really enjoyed. We also shared the tori don, which was a truly delicious dish with just the right amount of chicken and a tasty sauce. I would definitely come back here again.

I ordered the spicy salmon roll, chicken wings, and katsu curry don at this restaurant. All of the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the service staff were polite. The decor is a bit outdated and could use a refresh, but overall it was a great dining experience.

I absolutely adored the food at this restaurant! Every dish we ordered was fantastic (and we ordered quite a few!). The staff was so friendly and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

Good traditional Japanese restaurant. The sashimi is as good as any restaurant in Melbourne. I enjoyed the wings. Overall what you expect from you local Japanese
