Mt Pleasant Grille - Mount Pleasant

Eating was good, but everything was cold. we waited for 45 minutes for our escape. three tables were put after us and they got her to eat before we did.

We have a reservation for the special Valentine's Day dinner in advance for 19:00 clock, but until we were finally served our meal, it was at 20:15 clock. not only that, but while the escape of my man was hot, I was only lukewarm. I let our waitress know and she offered to take my teller back in the kitchen and warm it up, but since I had already waited for an hour for my food, I decided to keep it. Moreover, when we tried to order dessert from the special Valentine's Day menu, we were told that these desserts were not really available, so I am not sure why no one updated the dessert menus to reflect this. our waitress gave us the discount of the senior on our tail because of the long waiting period. Overall, I do not think that the restaurant was prepared suitable for this special dinner event.

It was Valentine's Day and I guess I expected a little extra. perhaps table clothes: a warmer environment that we were put through the window and our coats had to carry the entire meal; wait is over thirty minutes for our food; they were made of flat and baked kartoffels.

I'm here several times. the last time I took my wife here for Valentine's Day. eating was excellent as always. it took a little longer than usual, but they were very busy. they had a live musician playing the perfect band. they can hear and enjoy the music or just talk. overall this is a great place to eat. eating is great, the prices are good.

We have been to Mt Pleasant Grille in the past with good experience. This restaurant has gone downhill in the last year. Our first choice on starter was not available. My first choice on draft beer was not available. Our first choice on entree was not available. We finally settled on both having the sirloin. We had to send it back. It came out well done on a med rare order. The server was walking by on a regular basis and never checking on us. We finally began just stopping any server or manager that walked by. We will not be going back......
