Ichiban Japanese - Murfreesboro

I've loved her since they were at 2nd Ave in Nashville, and I still love her! Delicious food, friendly service and reasonable prices Edited to add review of 3/4/2022: Another favorite tonight with our dear friends! Ichiban is one of my favorite places ever. Since they were at the 2nd Ave in Nashville. It's a classic. It is warm and welcoming. It is as authentic as you can get (and this is from people who have been in Japan. The service is friendly and funny, and although they are short employees, they keep it as they can. You stay funny and nice. Our friends have a restrictive diet and they could eat! You ordered things without rice, etc. Dave and I do not have this problem (like much haha). We started with piggyoza. They were both soft and crispy at the same time juicy with a light cripple on the outside. The sauce is also delicious. I had Misosuppe (easy, salty and warm, seaweed salad (fresh and tasty) and a fishermen's roll (it is one of my favorites full of fresh fish. Dave had a sharp tuna reel, a Californian role and a fried Cali role (this last role was AMAZING okay. I would never have ordered it before, but I chose it for Dave tonight and wow . I also had hot for heaven's sake and he had Asahi beer. Everything was amazing! Usually, when we go to new places and the food is smaller than normal American portions, Dave is less than excited to go back, but Dave said it was amazing and that we should do it more often (both our fun double dates and the food! If you weren't, I can't believe it. GO!

Excellent and authentic Japanese cuisine. Attention to the visual presentation reminded me of my experience in Tokyo, Kyoto Osaka! Service was excellent. A bit expensive, but for those who can appreciate the entire experience, it will be worth it. Anyway, it'll be back soon.

This place is great! Mother of three little children here, and I'm so tired of eating macaroni and cheese.... So I ordered from Ichiban thru grubhub ubereats when I only need a break from child food. The food was fresh and delicious on time. This must be my new favorite sushi place in Murfreesboro. Here is a picture of my pick-up order today (after I'd eaten 1/3rd of it... lol! — the Bagel Roll the Rock Star Ichiban Roll. Very good. And the rice actually has taste!

I just moved here from Florida almost two months ago and this is the best sushi I found in the area. It was so disappointing everywhere. The hospitality of the waiters is also on the point. Definitely recommend. So glad I finally found a good sushi spot.

Authentic food amazing service and very fresh, this place completely lives up to the hype one of the best ramen we tried in Nashville. We’ll be going back here for sure.
