Adyar Ananda Bhavan - Nāmakkal

Recently had lunch in this restaurant with family. we had mini courts. but we were too late for our lunch and we couldn't get the full cure. we have been informed that only cabaret and cocos rice are available. it wasn't a curd available. we agreed to have cocos rice instead of rice. everything is beautiful and delicious, but sambarreis contains only more solitary with little rice.

The total waste of money to spend here food quality was 100% zero. the sweet one we buy was not even good and it's so bad.

On Friday, May 20th, 2022, we visited Namakkal in Coimbatore for official purposes. From the Namakkal bus stand, we searched for Adyar Ananda Bhavan and went there for breakfast. We were looking forward to a good breakfast in a clean environment. Unfortunately, compared to Coimbatore and other locations, the restaurant was not very clean. The front windows and the glass cabinets holding sweets inside were not tidy, and it seemed like they hadn't been cleaned for many days. We ordered mini-tiffin and pongal. The pongal had no ghee flavor and was watery, not meeting the usual taste standards of A2B. The mini-tiffin, including idly and masala dosa, did not taste fresh or delicious. We immediately raised our concerns with the server and the kitchen manager, but they did not take it seriously. It seemed like they did not care about maintaining the high standards of A2B in Namakkal. The server mentioned that all items come from the central kitchen in Perundurai, so A2B should ensure quality and taste consistency from there. We returned the mini-tiffin and ordered poori masala, but even that did not taste good. The masala preparation was poor, and we wondered if they were serving returned items. Even the tea was bitter and sticky. We urge the management to address these issues and maintain A2B's reputation as the number one choice for customers like us who have been loyal for many years. The food at this restaurant is excellent. The staff is courteous and they have exclusive parking on the busy street, which is rare. The restaurant is also very close to a temple. There is no need to consider any other dining options.
