Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónIf you're in town and craving some authentic Mexican food, this place is the real deal! From the moment you step in, you see the vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff immediately greet you, make you feel welcome. I don't think I have ever had to wait around for seating! The food is delicious and perhaps the best part are the portion sizes, giant platters and super generous. Trust me, you won't leave hungry! Highly recommend grabbing one of their sweet and tangy margaritas, something I call a celebration in a cup (or a jarrito de barro to be more authentic)!
Amaaazing food: camarones a la crema and the chicken enchiladas Fast friendly service too ... will be back
This restaurant has always had good food and service. They made it through the pandemic but not without raising prices 40 50% and prices are now not moderate, sadly. My personal opinion is that they are now about 10 15% overpriced but I don't see their expenses and profit. The restaurant has a festive Mexican theme but it is not loud unless you are in the vicinity of a large group. And it is always clean, including the restrooms. There is an extensive menu, with seafood and vegetarian entrees as well as the usual chicken, pork, and beef dishes. One appetizer that stands out is the cheese dip queso) that has chopped jalapeno peppers delicious! They make their own corn chips and tortillas so these are always fresh as well as the salsa, which is tasty. And there is normally a special on the board for $2 3 off the menu price. The servers all jump in and attend to the tables to meet your needs; there is not a single server assigned except the one who brings the check. Food delivery is prompt. Our group of four experienced one quality issue: the Camarones a la Crema omitted the mushrooms and substituted carrots without disclosing this change. The house margaritas are large and the price reflects that $10.99) but the quality was average; not outstanding nor poor. Don't arrive too close to closing time however. About a half to an hour before they will bring out a shop vac which is obnoxiously loud. I do not like this practice of nightly cleaning before opening hours close for the business day and customers are still receiving their orders. Overall though, it is a good Mexican restaurant.
Not bad! We have been looking for a good Mexican place since we moved here and it's been a journey! When we pulled in, the parking lot was completely full so we expected a long wait, however, This place was actually pretty great in getting us seated in a timely manner, drinks out quick and food out quick even though they were slamming busy! The wait staff were so friendly and on top of keeping our drinks full and our plates picked up after we were finished. Sadly, I am giving this a 4 star because the prices were way higher than expected! I've been to several Mexican restaurants around the country and gotten the same meal for half the price so it was a little shock when the bill came. Some items were not priced on the menu either. Food was good with a fair amount of flavor! We probably won't be back just because of the prices though. But check it out for yourself! Everything else was spot on and really amazing for a busy restaurant!!!
Slightly less than average Mexican restaurant. Little over priced for Mexican. Instead getting street tacos, I settled for some margaritas and taco salad. Taco salad was soaked. Not much greens either.
