The owner was super friendly and nice, and he also spoke English so that was helpful as I did not speak much French. The food was delicious, I loved everything I had. There were not many options, but it was all vegan-friendly so I enjoyed it. I also had the hot chocolate with rice milk and it was perfect! I'm definitely glad I found this place!

I just read the first reviews and fell up because I think we're not talking about the same restaurant!!! The owner and yes he is also the cook is really friendly and attentive to his customers. Its cuisine is delicious and absolutely not fade (perso I am vegan and I don't need false meat to eat well! . I warmly recommend this address.

We ate very well in this small friendly restaurant; fresh and well cooked products, I find it pleasant to be able to eat healthy and balanced in a restaurant! The boss, who leaves to serve and satisfy everyone, is very welcoming. Thanks to him for so much appreciated vegan cuisine to my mother!!

The island Bistrot is a restaurant with lots of charm that is really great! There are many colors in the restaurant, meals are very good and almost everything is vegan! There are also really delicious desserts! The chief is very friendly! It is cheap and children who are not yet 12 years old must pay only half the price, even if they get the same portions! It's really fantastic and delicious!

Finding a good vegetarian place to eat in may towns in France is often difficult so we were relieved and excited to find this dedicated restaurant. The one member of staff who did everything while we were there was very friendly, well prepared and organised. The set meal contained a range of interesting and colourful vegan dishes which we enjoyed with the house wine. I would imagine that during university term time it gets very busy so would strongly advise getting there early.
