Alexander's Garden - Naples

If you remember last March there was potential rain coming and we ask the lady possibly your wife do you a place for us in case it rains and she answered yes.We sat down order our drinks and looked bad , we asked our waiter please check on table four if it would be available and he answered in the affirmative. It started to rain and we went inside to get our table with our friends , I had been bragging about how great Alexander’s was as a restaurant..When we got inside the lady who took us to our table was know where to be found so she could verify her comments. The waiter said they had no table a different story from 10 minutes before. Than you came out and there were 4 tables inside and you said those were taken and I my wife and friends could not be served and must leave.That was not niceWe have been at your place for many lunches and dinners and recommended Alexander’s all the time to our friends. Sorry we cannot go anymore.The rating was based on attitude not food or ambianceJust put us in bad situation and we felt that you didn’t care and were taking care of othersThere was no let’s see how we can help but no room for us after we were seated.What rating would you give if this happened to you and your wifeParking: Nothing

We have enjoyed many dinners at Alexanders. Unfortunately our most recent visit Tues early dining was a disappointment. The beef bourguignon was not the same as our previous experience. The beef portion was smaller with less of the juice and not as tender. No pearl onions, A small disk of mashed potato which I dont recall having before . Not the same.Maybe because it was in their last 2 weeks of being open for seeason .

If I can write 0 would probably be the rate , our server was terrible , the food didn’t have any flavor and when the supposed owner came to talk as our request , she started to scream at us and hit the table with the basket of bread telling us that it was the best restaurant in the area and we had to deal with it. That she was working more than 14 hours and she didn’t want to hear us …. So probably yes if your reading this review my advice is not to go to this place .

One star for food and response from the restaurant (after my call when our entire party didn’t feel well the day after sharing several dishes). Higher rating for service. Katie was terrific

Just drove 45 minutes to get here and arrived within the time listed on their website and was refused service and told by the female manager that the website was wrong and for me to go to McDonald's!! Probably the WORST OBNOXIOUS attitude and response i have ever encountered in 50 years of dining....You are rude.....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. WHO HAS NO CLASS WHATSOEVER..UPDATE...UPDATE.....After the owner responded here and the Manager Diedre clearly lied about the entire situation..facts and conversation..the Owner Alex reached out to me and we had a very good conversation and invited us back to correct the situation and behavior of Diedre.....Will return and update..
