Hunters Hideaway Inc - Nappanee

Our first time ever here. Food was excellent. They were very busy. Staff seemed to lack attentiveness a little. But we'll definitely be back to try again. Had some of the best food we've had at a restaurant in quite a while. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

This is our second time at Hunters Hideaway. This time I had the special which was a sweet chili Chicken sandwich, it comes with two sides. I chose the tomato basil soup and fries covered in beef gravy. My husband had the steak sandwich, tots and chili soup. The tomato soup was very good but it had a good amount of fresh ground pepper in it. The chicken was tender and very tasty. My husband liked the chili but was not impressed with the steak sandwich, he said it was dry and tough. The first time we stopped in I had the steak sandwich and thought it was tender and not at all dry. He loved the burger he had the first time. I will give the steak sandwich another try while he will most likely return to a burger. We enjoyed the colts game on a large tv even in the family dining area.

Steak was very good tasting, just very thin. It was hard to get it med rare like we wanted. But it was great tasting. The service was very good. The runner did forget our mushrooms and a salad. But Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
