Cal's Country Kitchen

I visited this restaurant for the first time and unfortunately, I was let down. I ordered the fried chicken, which ended up being burnt. The mac and cheese was decent, but I noticed that the greens were unusually sweet, likely due to the addition of sugar. Overall, I won’t be returning.

I had my first visit to Cal's Country Kitchen today, and it was fantastic! The food was hot and delicious, and the service was really fast. We decided to take our meal to go, but they do have seating if you prefer to dine in. We ordered chicken and dressing, macaroni and cheese, green beans, a roll, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, turnip greens, cornbread, strawberry cake, and a brownie. After such a satisfying meal, I definitely needed a nap, lol!

I absolutely adore the food! Everything I've tasted here has been wonderful.

First visit and last visit! I purchased 3 plates. The Portion sizes and taste don’t match the $15 price. Fried chicken had flavor moist, -Chicken dressing good, but hardly no chicken. Mac and cheese mediocre, the collard greens needed turkey meat, and flavorful seasoning. Sweet potatoes were good. I came after lunch, but like they say 1st impression is the lasting impression.

Stop by this place for the first time and the food wasn't too bad I must say it was seasoned and prepared good. The portions were highly measured but the food tastes good. If you're in the area I suggest you give it a try the price was fair or is expected for what you are getting. The chicken and Justin had a really good taste to it but there wasn't a lot of chicken in the dressing. Pork chop was well-cooked and seasoned you only get one pork chop though. The barbecue chicken was okay I felt it could have been cooked a little bit more but besides that I got was yams mac and cheese collard greens and cabbage and it all tasted good.
