Cross Keys - Neath Port Talbot

We stopped off before shopping in neath we had 1 mexican chicken 1 pie and chips 1 bbq chicken 1 16oz gammon all meals stunning well worth a visit

Appalled by not only the food but the service too. Had a hair in my food, food was all luke warm, my mums steak was just pure fat and the garlic break was like rock. Informed the lady working there and her reply was even worse. Told me I had put my own hair into my food for some bizarre reason, told my nan that we had made a mistake with the feed back we had given her and threw my nans change onto the bar. Very rude!!

Visited for lunch with my daughter and mum. Barman was friendly enough...took a seat, looked at the menu and ordered. My daughters steak arrived with a short dark hair cooked onto it. They replaced it immediatly... another well done steak appeared within minutes. All our meals were luke warm..my rump medium rare was just a mass of inedible fat. Looked around for either the barman or the sour faced waitress to inform them our meals were not up to scratch...no one in sight. We waited around twenty minutes before she appeared at the bar. My mum approached her and told her about our disatisfaction. Her attitude was appalling. She told my daughter it was her own hair on the steak...my daughter has long blonde hair!!! She informed us that they had not had any complaints today and we were incorrect with our feedback( she wasnt quite as polite as that mind you)... safe to say we will not be returning.... especially as she slammed my mums change on the bar instead of handing it to her... some training in customer services is deffo needed for her...

I have visited this pub on many occasions and have never been disappointed with the quality, quantity or value of the food there. The Sunday lunch is one of the best and the beef cooked to perfection. We have had Christmas day lunch here for the past two years and are returning again this Christmas. As someone said previously, it is a little gem. The staff are great, always helpful and polite, what more could you want? :

Went to watch a band in Victoria gardens then few of us got bit hungry and fancied a pint. This was the nearest pub and was so glad we went there, hadn't been in the pub for years and didn't realise the had restaurant at back. I had home made lasagne and my partner had mixed grill and we wasn't disappointed, and would definitely be going back and recommended it.
