Covered Wagon Saloon - Nederland

Interesting spot in Nederland. Old school bar and restaurant. A little rundown but part of the charm? The staff were excellent. We called about the dog friendly patio. Unfortunately, it was closed but they let us bring our pup inside which was a wonderfulsurprise! Food was decent.

Oh my gosh? the best red chili ever!!! Chicken fingers and fries very good as well. Chill place in a chill town.

If you're searching for a genuine local restaurant, this is the spot to visit. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the food and service are excellent.

We visited this restaurant with our dog for dinner and approached the staff in a polite and patient manner. However, the waitress was very rude to us throughout our visit, making us feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, the behavior of the staff was disappointing and not surprising given the overall atmosphere. We chose to leave and went to a different place instead. We found that both Ned's and Crosscut Pizza nearby offer much better dining experiences in Nederland. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and its staff.
