Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe food was incredible, with plenty of lobster, and you can tell they don’t skimp on quality. However, what truly exceeded my expectations was the service. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel welcomed and enjoy fantastic food, this is it. The server asked for my name when taking the order and remembered it the entire time we were there. She addressed me by name and was attentive to all our needs. It was clear she treated every customer the same way. I left a generous tip, and she was genuinely appreciative. It’s refreshing to experience such attentive service in an era where tipping is the norm, but customer service often falls short.
We spent $42 at this restaurant, and I honestly don’t think it was worth it. I ordered the Connecticut Roll, thinking it would be substantial for the price of $23 when shared with someone else. However, when it arrived, it was about the same size as a French fry from my basket. The lobster pieces were tough and chewy, and there wasn’t enough lobster to justify the cost. The Whoopie Pie was the highlight of my meal, along with the fries, but the roll itself was a letdown. Overall, I believe it’s overpriced for what you get.
It's fascinating how they started with just one food truck, then appeared on Shark Tank, where they received an investment from Mary, allowing them to grow. I was so intrigued by their story that I went home and looked up the episode. You should definitely check out this location. The food is exceptional, and I enjoyed every single bite. As for parking, it's conveniently located right in front of the restaurant. Plus, there is wheelchair parking available, and the entrance is accessible. There's plenty of room inside for those in wheelchairs, so you can comfortably enjoy your meal at the table.
I wish I could give 6 stars for service and food quality! If you like lobster, you must go check this place out! I had the Maine lobster roll (warm lobster with melted butter) and it was FULL of lobster meat. I'm normally not a fan of battered fries but these were SO good (their combo #2 can be ordered with tots or fries). Their sweet tea is southern style (unlike the theme of the restaurant being northeastern), so it's very very sweet, which I love. The lady at the counter was a total sweetheart and she gave me a couple samples of their lobster bisque and NE clam chowder. Both amazing and I will come back for that bisque next time. They also sell Moxie soda for anyone from New England who has trouble finding it this far south. If you think it's a bit of a drive, don't let that stop you. It's worth the extra few miles.*Note: the Cousin's Lobster food truck is a different franchiser and not affiliated with the restaurant. I know those trucks have some bad reviews on Facebook but those comments should not be used to judge the restaurant in Neptune Beach.Vegetarian options: This is a seafood-based restaurant with a limited menu. You would have to order just fries, tots, or a cheese quesadilla.Parking: This is in a shopping mall with plenty of parking.
I am a Plymouth, Massachusetts native and one thing we could easily find is a descent lobster roll. Since moving to Florida almost 2.5 years ago I have not found a lobster roll worthy of eating. I had given up and saved my lobster appetite for whenever I flew back home. That all changed last week when I was able to try Cousins Lobster. I was both excited and skeptical about whether or not they could deliver a New England tasting lobster roll. Darah, the manager could sense my excitement and hesitation and she patiently walked me through a few items I was interested in. Everything is fresh from Maine and the lobster rolls are made fresh in house. She recommended the Connecticut Roll w warm butter. I also took home the Maine Roll made w mayonnaise and some lobster bisque, clam chowder.Let me just tell you that I felt like I was eating a lobster roll just like back home. It was delicious, a generous portion for a fair price.I am thrilled to have finally found an authentic lobster roll that is just as satisfying as ones from my hometown.Darah was a big help and pleasant to talk with.Parking: Easy, free
