However, as soon as we walked in, we noticed the floors were wet and there were no warning signs. The general manager informed us that only smoothies were available, and his demeanor was rather unfriendly, making us feel like an inconvenience. Although I can't speak to the quality of the food, the service we received was quite disappointing.
This is the fourth time I've ordered from here for my family, and sadly, each experience has been underwhelming. The vegetables in every dish have been bland and soggy. My orders have been mixed up multiple times, and the smoothies have lacked consistency. Having worked in health food stores and juice bars for four years, I can only say this: Robeks, it's time to make some improvements.
The customer service at this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. While I do enjoy the food, my experiences with the staff have consistently been disappointing, which has led me to decide not to return. There have been multiple occasions where I felt ignored or received poor treatment, despite always being polite and tipping well. It’s frustrating to be overlooked and to get incorrect orders without any explanation. I suggest thinking twice before spending your money or tipping here. On my last visit, I ordered avocado toast, but it had hardly any avocado—just a few tiny pieces. The staff member’s unfriendly attitude made me uncomfortable asking for a replacement, so I ended up leaving without saying anything.
To make matters worse, she stopped making my smoothie without blending it and started working on another order, leaving both smoothies unblended on the counter. Another staff member had to step in to finish both orders while the first employee took a phone call. The cherry on top was that the smoothie itself was terrible. I’m requesting a full refund.
I just got back from Hawaii, where I indulged in delicious açai bowls all week, and I was really looking forward to finding something similar in Florida. Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant fell short. I ordered the tropical bowl, but it was quite disappointing; some of the fruit tasted nearly rotten. This could have been a one-time issue, but it definitely discouraged me from wanting to return. I had high hopes for this place, so it’s disheartening that it didn't live up to my expectations. On a brighter note, the juice I ordered was much better than the bowl.
