The runs themself are okay, though most of the workers don't have a clue that if you want to purchase a ticket in the afternoon, that it is a cheaper price (they are at least friendly enough). Most of them seem clueless on the ends and outs of what the job entails. Then, if you want to address anything with the owners, he will respond in insults and anger. He is not pleasant to deal with. If a customer has concerns or questions (as simple as what are your hours for a weekday), do not bother trying to communicate with him because it is pointless (if he/they even bother to respond). He is not open to feedback. Too bad. Well, glad there are options to boarding/skiing elsewhere.

We absolutely love Donner Ski Ranch and its stunning scenery throughout the entire year! The owner and bartender, Alisha, are incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic—definitely try the pie! The skiing is awesome and actually affordable. You really get a sense of the family-owned, laid-back atmosphere here. We can't say enough good things about this place. Whether you're going for skiing, the Super Bowl, or a spring hike, we've been visiting Donner for decades and plan to keep coming back as long as we can. Thank you, Donner Ski Ranch!

The restaurant and bar staff were exceptional, and the food was outstanding. This is a memorable spot located just off a historic highway. Keep up the fantastic work!
