Baked Food Café Inc. - New Glasgow

I love it! Thanks for the reviews on Google, we landed here on the way to PEI. The ambience is great. Loved the thoughts, the posters and the effort to support the environment by steel straws, hand towels and no disposable stuff when you eat and drink in the café. The food is also excellent. It's not our daily mill café. You feel that life is trying new things and staying a little longer. Love the decor that contains fresh flowers and bright colors. I loved my power salad, blueberry and basil drink and London Fog tea. My children didn't leave any scrap in their plates, so their food was good. And if my husband liked chicken curry dish (he knows curries well), it was certainly good!

Fresh healthy food at affordable prices. Very recommended.

I went for the first time today and when I went in the atmosphere, I was alive and happy. We went to the counter and was told by a very nice waitress that we could have a place. After we set ourselves, a waitress brought us a menu and there was a good selection of different plates to choose from. I have the CLT E and my friend have the Chipotle Wrap. We both have the soup of the day that was sweet potato chipotle lime. The soup was great, it was really very surprising. The texture was smooth and it was full of taste. My sandwich was delicious and I enjoyed the bread. My friend had nothing but good things to say about the Chipotle Wrap and also agreed that the soup was delicious. I would definitely recommend checking this scenic little cafe. I will definitely come back. The only negative thing that my friend and I both agreed was that when we went in, we found the cafe very warm and lacked air conditioning that would have been nice as we went there and the weather was very warm.

This a very small restaurant and a very popular restaurant. The food is all local. They have vegan and vegetarian options. Desserts looked really yummy. I was not able to sample them as I was too full. I had the garlic flatbread grilled cheese with Canadian bacon. Excellent food. Also had the veggie puree soup. Excellent as well. The service was great. All the staff was friendly. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous little cafe with amazing food and lovely server. Open breakfast and lunch only. Weve had lunch and tomorrow I'm definately coming back for breakfast before leaving New Glasgow. What a treat to have found this gem of a restaurant.
