She reminded me of my professor in college, a know every fact kind-of employee. She was captivating. Theprofessional hot biscuit servers. The food was eye appealing, exquisite, tasty, and perfect portion sizes. From New York toAtlanta to Hawaii to New Orleans, GW Fins is top notch, by a million miles the best food at an affordable price. By the way I'ma picky eater and a stickler for customer service. Such great service and equally amazing food. Had the Lobster Dumpling, Pork Belly and Watermelon, Pork Chop, and Duck Cracklin Drum. All were outstanding. Service was incredible, you can tell they only hire the best of the best. Shout out to our serverStephani, she was warm and personable and made our dining experience even better than it already was. Make sure to makereservations ahead of time if you're even thinking about coming here. In all my prior visits to NOLA, I somehow only recentlydiscovered this place by word of mouth. GW Fins will now be on the list of the must-do spots every time I'm in NOLA Lookingforward to visiting again soon!
This was some of the best seafood I've ever had in my entire life! Lobster dumplings are a must try, as well as the wild red fish(if in season). Make sure to let them know if you're celebrating something so they can add the personal touch to your mealfor free. 10/10 recommended and would come back.
Great restaurant for delicious seafood options. Menu seems very curated. Fish dishes are amazingly flavorful. Great appetizer selections. A great bonus is the rounds of warm, fresh-off-the-oven biscuits. They keep coming to your table and how can you sayno? Drinks are stiff, but you are in New Orleans!! The red has dress code, fancy, and price is quite expensive. Bring yourbutton-ups and give it a try anyway!
Greeted warmly and Seated promptly at our reservation time. Our server Paul covered the menu very thoroughly and offered recommendations based on what was delivered that day. Started with cocktails and hit appetizers. The food was amazing and weknew the entrees were going to be superb. Everyone was very pleased with their meal and left room for amazing dessert. Idefinitely recommend, and Paul was an amazing server if you get the chance to sit in his section.
