The Franklin - New Orleans

Very cute and cozy restaurant. Amazing service. Wasn’t really impressed with the menu …and they didn’t have Tito’s vodka or cranberry juice? Lots of specialty cocktails though. Got the chicken parm, burger and fries. It was all good but not spectacular.Food: 3/5

Scallops, lamb lolly, burger, shrimp….. oh my, absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough. Tip top and possibly up there with the best meals I’ve had, truly lovely thank you ?Food: 5/5

First time going we decided to pop in for drinks. We sat at the bar. Although drinks were okay the service was SO poor. We first sat down and 3 workers were standing in front of us having a 10 min convo. 2 were the bartenders and there was only 4 other people in the restaurant. We had to ask if we could order because no one asked. Then it was just down hill. Sitting with empty glasses for 15 min at a time while at a bar isn’t intentional. But no one would ask if we needed something and they would not make eye contact. Finally we ask for the check. Again 15 min passed no one came got it. The waitress saw my card and by the third time she came behind the bar to grab drinks for her table she grab it and gave it to the bartender. Thank you to her your my fav person now.

This place is a true gem. Frog legs, rabbit pasta and parm truffle fries were outstanding. Strong drinks, good service, food that is way higher quality than the price point. So glad we discovered The Franklin on our trip!

Amazing food, interesting (in a great way wine list and excellent service (shout out to victor who was amazingly patient! . In a city with so much choice, the Franklin was such a pleasant surprise and everything we love: a small place, great, tasty food, good ambiance without it being too loud. Cannot recommend it enough
