Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónCame in for a Saturday brunch and the small restaurant was fairly empty. We waited 15 minutes for a server to come and give us water and take our drink order. Drinks took another 15 minutes and good came to our table after one hour. This is brunch...eggs, croque madame...NOT complicated. There was no apology for the wait and the server could care less. There was five employees covering the downstairs with five tables filled. There is no excuse for this lack of service and I will never be back.
We found Duet to be rather disorganized when not particularly busy for brunch. The service was erratic and the food lazy. My husband's chocolate pancakes barely had flavor much less distinction. My salad was basic, although I did like the dressing. We had to ask for bread twice. We had to ask for drinks. Also annoying was that they did not register our opentable reservation for which we had to answer. Not our kind of restaurant. Two stars was generous.
Great place. Food is good. Service can be a little more attentive but good over all.
The service was so slow it was just off. And the waiter just didn't check in to provide more water or see if we needed anything else or even if we were happy with the food. Having said that the food was very tasty.
Waited over an hour to receive appetizers nobody even said sorry. Server didn't seem to go out of his way to make it right but the kitchen sent out a few complimentary items, which is nice but felt like the service staff should have been a little more apologetic. Kind of felt like they were all just high school kids on winter break without an adult. When I finally asked for the manager the host came over and didn't seem sure about what to do... The food wasn't really worth the wait, either. The only thing I'd come back for is the dulce de leche doughnuts, which were amazing.
