Beautiful authentic Russian cuisine. the room was warm and welcoming and the service was excellent.
Big eating, drinks, music and atmosphere my wife and I recently dimmed on the Russian samovar and were quite satisfied. we started with the vinegret (a beet salad) and vareniki (kartoffeln with mushrooms and wobbles) which were both fabulous. we then shared the huh kiew, which was unfortunately the low point of our meal dry, instead of juicy and there was much too little of the delicious accompanying engraving. to dessert we shared a napoleon that was tasty and enormous, even the dessert we had eaten less than the half. the drinks were spectacular, I enjoyed my Soviet standards and my wife appreciated their borschtini, but found them a bit overwhelming and so drawn to a surprisingly delicious cosmopolitan. but probably the 'star of the car' was the Russian samovar tee, who arrived with a piece of lemon and a small dish of rugged kirschen the perfect accompaniment to our napoleon. the service was excellent and the atmosphere funny and romantic. and a delightful pianist gave together the background of our wonderful evening.
Dinner was excellent and the service even better. I will definitely try to return soon !!
The potato dumplings are a must get item, delicious! Main courses Chicken Kiev, Braised Short Ribs and pastry Salmon were all terrific!
