Kublai Khan is a Mongolian restaurant near the quayside that offers a menu similar to Chinese cuisine. They serve a variety of delicious dishes.

I had a delivery from this restaurant through Just Eat. It arrived on time and was still hot. I ordered the masala fish with dip, both of which were delicious. I also had a garlic naan and a lamb karahi. The lamb pieces were tender and cooked in a light spicy sauce. Both dishes were tasty. I received a free spiced wobble and poppadom, which was so good that I finished it before even trying the other items.

First visit and will definitely be going back. Staff gave us a warm friendly welcome and although initially we were not aware that it was a set menu for new years eve, which at first felt a bit disappointing, however we should have realised we it would be. We sat back and viewed the choices and waited in anticipation of the food arriving. It was extremely busy, but nothing was too much trouble and they happily opened our wine we had taken,and constantly confirmed we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying the food. We were indeed! It was delicious! All four of us agreed it was the best we have tasted. We will look forward to our next experience. Thank you to all at khan's in particular the lady working on new years eve. Mr Khan who bid us farewell and thanked us for our custom.

Lovely food, very busy and we went to collect at the specific time but had to wait 15 minutes as they were busy. When I got home they had made a mistake on our order, we called hoping they'd deliver the correct items but the only way they offered to correct their mistake was for us to go back with our order for them to re-do it. Bearing in mind we already waited 40 minutes to collect and had to wait an additional 15 minutes as our order wasn't ready. Also I drove from gosforth/kenton area which adds more time to the wait for our food order. Ended up accepting the order as is without much customer service to correct issue. The food was nice but wouldn't order takeout or delivery again but would go back for a dine in experience so any errors could be fixed on the spot.
