Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónBest seafood on the docks. They evaporate all their food and no frit or anything else. Amazing food. The staff was super friendly.
This sweet little hideaway was worth it! The owner runs a beautiful small place with great decor and excellent food. They seem to be known for the Cioppino and I can see why. Savory mixed with a bit of kick and lots of seafood. The Pasta version came with oysters. In any case, more will try.
This restaurant has been in this location for 25 years. The food is absolutely spectacular. We have just visited and found out that they will move because a cheese factory is being built. What? The city of Newport allows to build a cheese factory in this historic port area!! Shame on Newport!!
Okay. So I have a while at posting so I could take a more objective attitude. First off, this place is, Way overrated! Menu sees phenominal online, as boss, in my mind I said challenge allowed to see what they get for culinary delicacies. First bad first impression, got there five minutes before the opening for the evening, noticed a sign saying they could open a few minutes late. saw the owner noticed us and screamed us in the back. She stood in front of my children waiting to be admitted, about 20 minutes after opening, she came back to the front to let us in. (I should also mention my son is Crab Crazy and wanted only 1 menu item. Dungeness crab entree, I have the fresh fish duck (snapper and Mac and cheese for my youngest. This total at the end of 96 with lace, a shirley temple and coffee for me. 8 mentioned before she went back to put the order on the cook that I was a cook and would check. I thought this warning was fair. After a few minutes of being within a nice group of 4 seniors came and another set of 2 a few minutes later. This is when I and 2 children were almost completely ignored. When the food came out another 25-30 minutes later, I was a little shocked by what was on the plate, not knowing the price I let it slide and thought there was crab and snapper what could go wrong. Although I was quite annoyed when she said that it was delicious special mac and cheese, as if I were stupid enough to believe that it wasn't a force button! I tasted it, tasted like family value or one of those of brands. On the fish and crabs the fish was tasty, so the 2 stars above, the crab was overcooked or skilled (I could not decide that and a fairly small part of crab meat for the paid price, my 6 y/o was happy with the crab, I knew the difference. But besides, they sloppily fill the rest of the dish hilly nilley with large chopped iceberg, chopped just a little more than a wedge salad, placed with fruit and other vegetables above. Although the salad that came with the fish also badly chopped iceberg, and very large carrots shredded. To charge the amount they charge, their dishes should have flow and direction to guide your tastes on a trip. That made me feel very disappointed and rather frustrated when I saw the bill in the end. Money would have been better spent with pig n pancakes or Sambos for 3 days, then the unique culinary flop that padded their retirement. I would definitely avoid this place if you have children, or... so in response to the chef at sharks. each school trained cook will tell you that canned is not fresh. You're an idiot. Figure 1 is your so-called crab dinner. Also.. yes I gave 4 stars to McDonald 's because they stayed in their lane and was thier job in this particular restaurant, if someone does a good job, I tend to say something too. If you had done yours, you would have more stars. Also pardon me that I am the rockfish
Delicious! Cozy atmosphere. We got to watch the chef prepare our dinners and chat with him. Great experience. Friendly, excellent service, and an obvious passion for what they do. 5 stars all around!
