Just ordered delivery through the SMC app.... some good things have come from Covid-19!! <br/ <br/ Super easy process, got an immediate email confirmation with the time of delivery. A few minutes after delivery time, received a text advising it was on way and apologies for not being on time. (This was no problem, it was only 15 mins after ordering, so it was still super fast anyway. Thoughtful nonetheless. <br/ <br/ Ordered 2 x pizza, carbonara and some cocktails (see, good things to come out of the virus!! . The pizza was hot and delicious. The tomato base was lovely, the cheese mild, the salami perfect. A little more basil on the Margherita would have been nice, but that’s a small thing. The dough was tasty and had a nice chew, thin and cooked well. <br/ The linguine carbonara was great. Usually not my thing in Australia... all that gluggy cream...ugh! But I had a taste of this and it was delicious. No cream in sight... just a salty, pancetta fat coating over the al dente pasta. Well done, SMC! <br/ <br/ And how damned cute are the little glass bottles and jar of cocktails!!? We felt like cocktails and so excited that we could indulge whilst being isolated...socially. They were strong, tasty and a brilliant idea to have them in the cute glass bottles. I will definitely be using them again. <br/ <br/ Very impressed with the app, service and quality of our order. And whilst I am an UberEats user, it’s great to see a local business creating the app and utilising their staff to keep people employed in this strange time... Excellent job, Salt Meat Cheeses. I will sing your praises to all that will listen.

3.5/5<br/ An impromptu Italian lunch here was defined by want vs need. We *wanted* to take full advantage of Aperol Sunday but sadly *needed* to be somewhere else pronto. The compromise? Power thru pizza pasta at lightning speed. Obviously. After a laidback start, the team happily rushed an order for us we really appreciated their indulgence. <br/ <br/ Polpette pizza hit the ground running. Dope AF combo of fior di latte, housemade meatball ragu, pistachio beautiful parmigiano shards all on a perfect wood fired base holy meatballs it was deeeelishe. Would return for more pizza anytime. Crab tagliolini didn’t quite hit its stride for us. Clean flavours were simple very subtle. Would have loved more actual salt or seasoning in this whole Salt Meets Cheese situation a catch 22 though with such hurried service I’m sure. Overall nice food, nice location great staff.<br/ <br/ Top of my ‘needs’ list for next time is me vs cheesewheel pasta with all the time in the world (I think we all know who the winner will be...

We ate dinner at the vegan all you can eat night and it was delicious! The pizza and pasta was very tasty and the service was fast and very friendly.

Nice Food, Nice location. Need to have Gnocchi available 24/7, would be nice to be able to order a nice Italian steak too. Will be back however.

It has been voted Best pizza in Brisbane and now I know why. Best service and amazing cocktails. The outdoor areas are very nice and they are both dog friendly. the cheese wheel night was incredible
