Hippopotamus Nimes

We came in nimes with the intention to eat here. we have tried to eat in marseille and cap D’agde, so definitely wanted to eat here. we have booked online to make sure that we could get a table, good work we did when it was really busy. when we were gone. the menu had changed since our last visit in a hippopotamus, unfortunately the share meat plate was removed. we were greeted by the wonderful fabien, he really made us feel welcome, all we needed, then he was there to help, but it wasn't in her face art away. eating was just perfect, my steak was cooked to perfection. my man eats his steak blue, it is very hard to house to get a perfectly cooked piece steak, was cooked exactly as he likes it. the cafe du gourmand dessert was only heavenly, we shared one, we also shared the mixed starter. the personal here is great, very attentive, but mindful of the Kovid regulations. in any case, they recommend a visit if at all in nimes. the t1 bus stop is right outside so we used it to take the car and so we could both have a beer. fabien, they were fantastic, and we appreciated their whole help very much.

What we like. good eating at a reasonable price. parking easy. the personal is in order. can not use the hippotamus program so.

Burger, chips, decent steaks, nice friendly staff beautifully decorated with a little atmosphere. a well respectable decent place for a casual meal. rind meat borgonoine (sp? was really good, the caesar salat was decidedly averaged. good value at €20 for a main course and a drink.

We had a great time at Hyppopotamus. Even if the place was overcrowded and we had no choice but eating outside, but heating devices and blankets were provided by the staff. A special thanks to the Wonderful waiter FABIAN, that took care of us with...such attention, and... in a perfect English. The food was fine and quite cheap, we had a great time, tasting french cuisin.
