Very German style brewery house in the heart of the Altstadt (old town) with a nice brewery style menu. Staff was very funny and friendly. The beer is quite bitter or hopsy compared to the other Altbeers we had around town.

At large tables meet measurable guests, students, profiters and many different colorful folks that connects tasty stöffke. neat bierhappen with few supplements during the day, in the evening larger offer warmer food.

I was here for the Grand Start of the Tour de France. What a fun place! It's a traditional Altbier kind of place and the amazing waiters keep the beer coming no matter how large the crowd gets. For the bike race, they would deliver the beers right to us on the rail so we wouldn't lose our vantage point to watch. You have to go if you are in Düsseldorf.
