The cocktails were very well done and had some nice twists on some classics. HUGE bourbon selection. I tried an IPA that they make in house and it was ok. We had the poutine which was very good. Maybe a little too salty for my taste but they nailed the flavor. I had the burnt ends which were tender and juicy and had a great char. I wasn’t a fan of their homemade BBQ sauce as it was a little to tomatoey and lacked some depth. We also ordered the ravioli which was amazing just needed 30 seconds more to cook. Very nice vibe overall and would recommend giving it a try.
Another fabulous visit here! I love the living wall and farm to table ambiance that reminds me of southern CA coastal restaurants. Shishito pepper special was delicious. The sauce with red curry mussels was a bit too salty : Burger spot on. Service was outstanding
Fantastic ambience both indoors and outdoors, quality food having some of the ingredients sourced from their own farm and greenhouse, amazing collection of whiskies and a brewery with some very delicious beers. I have all praise for this restaurant/gastropub. Will come back again to try out the Salmon tartar we did not get because they ran out of it and the baked goat cheese. We tried bison burger, ravioli and brisket tacos. Burger was the best having bison patty and a pork belly combo, Ravioli was prepared well. Was not very impressed with Brisket tacos though because there was hardly any brisket and tacos were too small. May try their brisket main entree during next visit. Ended with mango parfait (which felt like a meal in itself) and a whiskey espresso (may need little more body to showcase espresso character) for dessert. Overall loved it.
Nice, quiet atmosphere with a wood burning stove on the outside. I ordered the Bison Burger and the food arrived very well cooked and tasty. Probably one of the largest whiskey collections I've seen behind the bar.
I'm quite disappointed to be honest and I absolutely love this place. The homemade bread was to die for and I love the whipped butter. Please bring more. My steak was over cooked and didn't have much flavor, I also wished for some greens instead of just potatoes on the plate. I also had a summer wind drink and it was delicious. My date had the ravioli; it smelled amazing and he finished everything on his plate. We ended with the dessert empanadas and that was nothing really worth ordering again. Overall I was quite disappointed and looking for another farm to table restaurant in the area.
