Great American Tavern - North Reading

Decided to try for a Groupon coupon. Saw reviews, the said service was not so great and I must say that the service was slow, the waitress was not as attentive or friendly as in other restaurants. The food was good, but worth not as good as other neighborhood places.

Extremely slow service. Appetizers were served after the ducks.

White pizza was delicious! One of the few bars around me serving Irish car bombs!! Open at the end of 12:30

Great place of the table was right in front. All our friends were at the same table.

The Great American Tavern offers the typical bar fare, featuring decent appetizers and burgers. One notable dish was the buffalo mac cheese, which was baked to perfection. Portions are fair and the staff, pleasant. One minor problem the restaurant has a high, cavernous ceiling and it tends to be chilly inside. One plus Keno is available to add a little entertainment to the meal.
