Got shout at for sitting down and trying to keep social distance from others and tables not cleared after 10 15 minutes and when received food had a black hair in and not happy with service but other times service is spot on

When we arrived, we noticed that the timer for food service was completely in the red (I work in the food industry, so I'm familiar with these timers). We only ordered two bowls of chips, and it took a full 10 minutes to get them. Meanwhile, trays were piling up on tables because the tray stand was overflowing with dirty dishes. By the time our food arrived, the chips were clearly cold and stale, having been left out or under a heat lamp for far too long. Unfortunately, this led to my mother feeling unwell and having to rush to the restroom to throw up. The staff seemed to lack communication, which contributed to the food sitting out longer than necessary. However, I will say they were friendly to customers.

Basic café fare. We had a full Scottish breakfast, which was only slightly different from an English breakfast due to the shape of the sausage. For £2.99, you get a generous portion that is well cooked. However, my baked beans were served in a separate dish, while my husband's were just piled on top of the fried egg, indicating that presentation wasn't a priority. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3.
