Great welcome friendly landlord and staff. Food was fabulous and good value. Super cask ale. One point to note when we were there (May 2023) it was cash only no cards, so check if likely to be a problem.

Great food lovely warm feeling anything but the fountain inn gets a thumbs up from me they could learn alot from a pub like this

Friendly landlord who is keen to discuss the history of the pub, if you ask him about it. Lots of interesting photos. Great food a fantastic range of cask ales. They only accept cash though, so please check before purchasing anything.

Had dinner here last night with friends and we'll definitely go back. Food was great, service was friendly and attentive and most of all it was busy with a fabulous atmosphere. Thank you The Railway, great job.
