The Cafe House - Northumberland

This restaurant is a hidden gem that is incredibly easy to get to, but feels like a world apart. The old estate has been stylishly renovated into a modern hospitality venue with excellent dining and service. We visited for my mother's birthday party and it felt very special. My only disappointment was that the waiters were still wearing masks, which I personally feel reduces the humanity of the service and is unnecessary. Otherwise, top marks.

The restaurant was average, but it didn't quite live up to the quality expected for the prices charged. We visited for a special occasion, but found that while it would be suitable for everyday dining, it wasn't quite special enough for our celebration. There is a second restaurant on the premises that we heard is better, but unfortunately it was closed during our visit.

This restaurant has raised the bar higher than my previous visits. Excellent.

Great food and high quality. drinks were also very good.

Lovely atmosphere, gorgeous food. Highly recommend!
