Excellent evening meal. I called after that. the manager opened the dining room early to accommodate us as the pub was pretty crowded. the delicious meal was served by a cheerful waitress. we waited for a while to eat, but young people were worth waiting. all were cooked to perfection, even the vegetables were 'precisely correct'. the steak was so tender that the house that was made the huh kiew was delicious. well earned 5 s well made chef anker staff

I had the most amazing meat bark dinner after a long day at work, was a pleasure to have dinner and it did not boil to a crunchy and not cooked to the dead veg, it was the best bark and crunchy veg would come back

Another beautiful meal at the anchor, this time to celebrate my birthday. I couldn't think of a better place to get out of place. three different meals and three very satisfied customers. wait staff really friendly and helpful. many thanks for a beautiful evening.

I have often driven past this pub and thought I really must give it a try, well tonight I had the opportunity and wish I had tried it before. I had a lovely meal and the landlord was a wonderful character. Will definitely be making this one of my go to places.
