When she returned to see if we were ready to order, only one of the three of us was. We had barely been seated for five minutes—I mean, she had taken our drink order right away, which I appreciated! But then she mentioned that they were in a rush to get orders in because they were busy. It felt a bit strange to be rushed to decide so soon after sitting down. If it had been more than 10 minutes, I could understand, but it felt like they were trying to push us to order quickly and turn over the table. Because of that, I’m hesitant to come back. I want to enjoy my meals without feeling like I’m holding anyone back. I came here for a relaxed breakfast, not to feel rushed and stressed. In fact, I feel more welcomed at the restaurant where my ex-boyfriend and estranged family work. While I was writing this review, our server actually left her shift and got into her car, which didn’t help the situation. Another server came over to explain, and she was very nice, so I bumped my rating back up to a 4. When our original server returned, she seemed calmer, so I’ll chalk it up to the chaos of a busy day. Overall, while the experience was a bit rough, it showed that sometimes it’s just the pressure of the moment.

We stopped by this restaurant on our way home up the coast and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The waitress was very friendly as well. Since it was a Sunday around the time when church services let out, there was plenty of space to sit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast. The bread is absolutely perfect! They prepare the grits wonderfully, giving it a cozy, home-cooked feel. It's a delightful discovery!

Went there this morning with 3 guests. There were 10 open tables. Large group on a 4 or 5 top took up the kitchen. We waited 35 minutes and were told the large table had the kitchen backed up and they were not allowed to seat anyone. We were then told it would be another 30 minutes before we would be seated and we were at the front of the list to be seated. The food quality will not justify the wait nor the incompetence. Waitstaff is great, but management decision to not seat open tables in favor of making people stand in the middle of the restaurant is poor and not acceptable. They could have at least served coffee or drinks to those seated as they waited.

Very satisfied. Good sized portion and prices are decent
